Strawberry Banana Smoothies

Ingredients:
1 cup fresh (or frozen) strawberries
1/2 fresh (or frozen) banana
1/4 cup greek yogurt (or dairy-free alternative)
1/4 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
Makes enough for one serving.
Take all the ingredients and blend them together in a blender or food processor until you reach desired consistency. In addition, you can include any nut butter or chia seeds for some added protein or healthy fats!

Strawberry Salsa

Ingredients:
1 pint fresh strawberries, finely diced
1 jalapeno, finely diced with seeds and stem removed
1/2 small red onion, finely diced
2/3 cup cilantro, finely diced
2 tablespoons lime juice
Pinch of salt and pepper
Combine all ingredients and toss together. Eat right away with some tortilla chips or store in the fridge for later!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Ingredients:
1 pound strawberries (as large as you can find with stems!)
6 ounces semisweet chocolate chips (or whatever chocolate you prefer)
Optional: sprinkles, crushed candy ,or chopped nuts)
First, melt chocolate by placing it in a heatproof bowl over a pot of boiling water, or in the microwave. (If using microwave, place on low power for one minute, stir, and place back in for another minute). While the chocolate is melting, line a sheet pan with parchment paper. Holding the strawberries by the stem, dip berries into chocolate and lay on the parchment paper. After that, add sprinkles or any other desired toppings while the chocolate is still warm! Place strawberries in the fridge for approximately 30 minutes.

    Yes! Strawberries are my favorite in any form! I am definitely going to try out that salsa recipe. So fun. Too bad you can’t imprint these guys but your apples are the BEST! I need to try out your citrus fruits next.
