Creating an Apple Tailgating Party

First up you will want to gather together cozy blankets and a few branches with colorful leaves on them to create a pretty display. Then, select a logo or message for your Fun to Eat Fruit apples (this image is completely edible). So, guess what that means?!?! You can eat our apples as they are or bring them home after the party to bake your very own favorite apple pie.

If you’re lucky to have a vintage Chevy truck in the family, like this one from Lori’s grandfather, you can pile all the fun tailgating goodies in the back. If not, any truck will do—even a fun set-up in your local park will do just fine. It’s all about gathering together with friends and family to enjoy the fall season.

Lori chose a maple leaf as the motif for her tailgating party. She loves colorful, autumn leaves so the colors of autumn inspired her tailgating menu. Yummies included maple bacon chips, maple donut skewers and apple crisp wafers served on the prettiest three-tier serving tray by Amalfi Decor. There was even apple butter & brie toasts and of course, the highlight treat being apple pie, a family favorite! Lori added another must-have, fun element to her party: FestiveFetti custom confetti! And, since tailgating parties should be casual and easy for the hostess and guests, plastic cups are just fine for the wine and cider.

Treat Your Guests to Apple Favors

A sweet little terra cotta pot with raffia and some brightly colored fall leaves provides the perfect base to hold our apples with the maple leaf image. Gather together these little pots to make a cute centerpiece, or placing the apples in a wooden basket works just as well.
