Centerpiece Design for Kentucky Derby Run for the Roses Event

Tina Fottler Sawtelle, the talented owner of Pinewoods Yankee Farm in Lee, NH, had a fabulous idea to incorporate our locally-sourced, Fun to Eat Fruit apples into floral centerpieces for the UNH Therapeutic Riding Program‘s Run for the Roses Silent Auction & Dinner.

Kentucky-Derby-Run-for-the-Roses-Fun-to-Eat-Fruit-Apples.jpgIn order to make this happen, we donated 50 red, macintosh apples for the 15 centerpieces, each featuring an edible white, iconic horse and jockey racing image. Tina, a longtime supporter of this program, donated her labor as well as the centerpieces.
